Letting us know you need help is perfectly normal and we believe all of our team should be able to talk freely about their mental health and wellbeing.
If you’re worried about your mental health and wellbeing there are a number of things you can do:
Talk -
- If you're worried about someone, you can check in with them and see how they are, and if they feel comfortable to talk through any concern. However, if you're not sure please reach out to a mental wellbeing advisor via phone on 01227 826573 for the Canterbury campus or 01634 888474 for Medway or email KentSSW@kent.ac.uk or MedwaySSW@kent.ac.uk.
- If believe someone is in immediate danger or seriously injured, you can call 999 (or 112 from a mobile). There are other health and emergency services available for you around campus.
Get support -
- Please visit our general support pages to signpost the person affected, or if you want to discuss how you can best support someone.
